Even though for the majority of cryptoinvestors this week has been quite unpleasant, those digital currency enthusiasts who finance Ethereum Classic have some good news.
One of the world’s dominant digital currency exchanges, Coinbase, has included Ethereum Classic in its list of cryptocurrencies. In addition, from now on, ETC has become the 6th digital currency to be listed on Robinhood, an application for stock trading that provides its services for as much as 19 US states already.
Coinbase Pro, previously known as GDAX, started including deposits for ETC, in trading pairs with the USD dollar and various digital currencies scheduled for commencement within the following week.
As soon as Coinbase Pro stabilizes its operations with the newly listed currency, the main service will most likely list ETC on its brokerage service as well.
Both announcements about ETC listing have cause ETC price to surge. In the course of the previous week, it has increased in price by over 11% against USD, which turned out to be the best performing result amongst the digital currencies with over 1 billion US dollars of market capitalization. Moreover, it was the only digital currency to experience positive price movement over the specified period.
Currently, ETC is available at the price of 18.59 USD, rendering its market cap worth of 1.9 billion US dollars.
